Another beer from Broadhead that has me and some friends of mine thinking ‘what we’re they thinking’. The pour is a solid dark brown, with a light brown creamy cap. Aroma is very much at the roasted malt/chocolate end of the spectrum with not much in the way of coffee. The flavour is rather one dimensional as well with lots of roasted malt and milk chocolate, and nothing too bitter to keep it in check.

The beer pours a solid black colour with a generous creamy tan coloured head that sticks around a little while. The aroma is roasted malt, hints of nuts, light vanilla and weak coffee. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, quite creamy, with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malts, coffee, and sweet candy note in the mix. Not bad -

Big creamy head doesn't last long. Milk chocolate aroma. Medium smooth body. Something fishy about the taste. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla and a bit of smoke. a little on the sweet side. Not something I would rush out to get again.

Pours a pretty big, thick and creamy tan head and has a dark brown appearance. Sticky lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and hints of vanilla. Flavours are very much in the sane vein, the chocolate and coffee is there, vanilla not as much. Some cocoa notes as well. Good retention. Average carbonation. Slick and oily mouthfeel. A bit above average stout.

Sampled at the 2014 Winterbrewed Craft Beer Festival on Valentines’ Day. Poured a dark brown colour with a beige head and thick patchy lacing. Mostly chocolate aromas with soft vanilla over the roasted malt and hints of coffee. Medium-bodied with some stickiness. Taste of coffee and roasted malts with a little sourness. An easy drinking stout.
