Pouring a brilliant copper, with a slight haze and a moderate off-white head. On the nose you’ll find a harmony of hop bitterness, caramel sweetness and a bright citrus finish. On the palate is where the oak really shines, balanced out with a caramel sweetness and hoppy body with a touch of spice and clove mixed in. The citrus hop characters and oak aging pair well, with neither one being to dominate among the flavours.

Can that pours a clean, amber colour with hardly any carbonation. The head is still big, frothy-creamy, off-white head, good stay and some nice thick foamy lacing. Enough hops to give herbal notes, cutting the sweetness in the nose. The vanilla hints are very mild, blending with the caramel malts and grassiness that add a little dryness in the finish. Was expecting a lot of sweetness, but no - the hops are winning here.
