Malty, hoppy aroma is not strong but still promising. It pours a clear, fizzy amber with a decent eggshell-white head. Malty aroma has a strong hoppy overtone and hints of green wood and fruit. Was that a whisper of banana? Firm texture has plenty of fizz and sass, leaving a woody, hoppy, slightly bitter finish. Overall, if not outstanding, still a decent brewski.

It pours a hazy and thick burnt-orange/amber with a thick white head and some spots of lacing. An aroma of light caramel malts, hops, pine, grapefruit and citrus, and light bitterness and sweet spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, thick, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, pine, grapefruit and citrus, some bitterness and spiciness. Excellent altogether..

Was gonna buy this at my local bottleshop but a friend bought one to a tasting so lucky me .. . pours a deep amber .. medium foam .. . light crazy lemon, sap, grapefruit and flowers .. . light sticky mouth .. . clean finish, a nice hop treat .. . . If you were running for mayor, he'd vote for you.

Poured a slightly hazy, medium copper-coloured body under a short-lived - VERY short-lived head. Aroma was just bloody super - chock full of hop bitterness and abundant pine notes. Flavour was every bit as good. Thick, rich mouthfeel and a nice finish. Best for me so far from this brewer.

Sampled on 10/21/08. This Imperial IPA pours a deep orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruit, orange peel, some malts and a bunch of herbs. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are caramely and fruity with a touch of sweetness. Hops are grapefruity and piney. It has that definite wet hop chewyness to it as well. Decent balance, with a good level of carbonation. Decent beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter, with a nice hop bite.

A dark orange appearance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains a bit of perfume with some oranges and pine also present. The flavor consist of a bit more malt than Im used to in a IPA. Some lemons, oranges, and pine all over the tounge. Overall a well balanced IIPA, more tame than most.
