Lakeland is most known for its 38 lakes, royal swans and endless citrus groves, but it was almost named "Rome City". (No one really knows why!) Here is a beer to celebrate what almost was, for a reason no one knows.

A burned orange amber colored beer with a big frothy textured off white head rising above. There’s good hang time on the head. A thick, well formed ringlet rises up the glass and a cap sits atop the beer. I get citric hops and grapefruit in the nose. Tropical fruits and guava in the tasting. Slick on the tongue and easy to drink.
