A Bavarian-style unfiltered wheat beer, also known as Hefe-Weizen. A unique brew with light color, body and flavor. Wild Card Wheat tasted great accompanied by a slice of lemon.

Pours deep & somewhat dark yellow, nearly opaque with the sediment, and a glorious contrasting white head which hangs around for a while. the aroma has yeasty/bready notes, banana, and touch of lemon. The taste is banana, more than most hefes exhibit, with minimal clove and spice in the background. The mouthfeel is medium bodied. Its the best beer @ brewery.

Comes out of the tap a hazy golden with a thick white head that leaves generous lacing. Strong wheaty, lemony aroma has a hint of malt. Wheaty flavor has a sweetish orange note and hints of yeast, malt and sweet lemon. Firm body has good fizz and leaves a tingly, wheaty, citrus finish.

Can it be? I like a Hefe more than any other beer by a microbrewery? There's a first time for everything I suppose. This and the stout are the only two beers from BB I'd order another pint of and still respect myself in the morning. The flavor of this beer was great...BIG on the banana/clove/bubble gum aspect, and the aroma (almost) to match. The only knock is it was a bit watery, which prevents it from getting a higher rating.
