Hop heads in southwest Minnesota have long been a growing but starving population. After numerous requests for a mouth puckering hoppy beer, we've stepped up to the plate with Sheep Head Ale. This beer is named after our favorite family pastime, sheep head. Hops dominate with a balance of spicy herbal hops up front followed by the citrus and grass of American hops. Malt is not forgotten by means of heavily toasted and chocolate malt. This is a great beer for a long winter session of card playing with family.

Another one from the PfoxyJohn. Deep amber pour, nice head and lacing. Aromas and flavors of earthy and floral hosp, some spiciness, a nice toffee and candy sweetness to offset. More British than American IPA. Easy to drink. Thank you John.

Pours a dark amber with no head what so ever. Beer is very clear with very little carbonation. Aroma is hoppy and medicinal feeling (think Vics vapor rub). Hint of clove in there as well. taste is kinda flat with a bitter ending. Not much to saw about this one. Last couple beers from this brewery have been pretty boring and flat.

Pour is dark amber with a thin layer of foamy head. Aroma isn't quite like promised on the bottle--some earthy and spicy hops but not very fragrant. Smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Plenty of malt prevents this from ever being too bitter. Some sweetness and alcohol in the finish as the beer warms. Nothing special.
