Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
First of two Double IPAs at 8.7 % ABV from this brewery. Hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, good retention and nice foamy-soapy lacing. Aromas are well-blended with the orange-lemon, zest, juices and some soft oat sweetness. The flavours are much of the citrusy same. The mouthfeel has a good dryness, and light tartiness is left on the tongue. It is fairly smooth, lightly creamy and goes down very nicely, almost like a hazy APA.
