Had this one at the brewery on tap and in a big can at home. Dark brown colour with a creamy mocha-coloured head and lactose creaminess running down the glass. Roasted malt nose with notes of molasses, chocolate and coffee. The taste shows the roasted malt with the hops taking over with grassiness, strong dryness and bitterness in the finish. This lingers quite long with chocolate undertones. If you want a very hoppy Imperial stout, this is for you. So dry and bitter, hard to feel the lactose.
