Our ISA (India Session Ale) is strongly inspired by Britain’s Session-type beers. It perfectly combines the intense, hopped flavours of IPA’s with a low alcohol content! This unique brew has a rich, amber blonde hue that appears slightly veiled, a testimony to the beer’s unfiltered nature. On the nose, the ISA reveals the fruity aroma of two distinct hops, Amarillo and Falconer’s Flight, creating a perfect mix of citrus and tropical fruit. From the first sip of ISA, tangerine and grapefruit flavours come forward, leading to notes of pineapple and passion fruit. The beer’s slightly malted body gives it a touch of roundness and delicately balances its distinct bitterness. The ISA’s finishing notes are floral, reminiscent of pink peppercorn and are quick to draw the drinker in for another sip. Like all other Boréale beers, the ISA is 100% natural, meaning that it contains no preservatives or colouring agents.

Pours a hazy light golden-amber colour with a huge frothy white head, good retention and foamy lacing. Aromas of citrus with some grapefruits and oranges. Spices and hints of caramel. The taste is pretty mild, but good with a little dryness. Citrus notes and not too bitter. A great citrusy India Session Ale.
