A clean, golden-amber colour with a frothy-bubbly warm, off-white head, average stay and decent creamy lacing streaks. Cereal malt aromas with light fruitiness, a mineral water touch and the hops being quite tame as the style should be. The hops show up more in the taste, just to cut the richness of an amber lager and finish on the drying notes. A bit of grassy taste, but with some toasted bread, mild caramel malts and tad fruit. Not the style these Episodes do very much, but this is a very well-brewed Vienna Lager that refreshes.
