An unlikely duo separated by distance, borders, and an undeniable contrast of stature: Bomber and Stone have come together to do what many thought was not possible. Blood From A Stone is a truly international creation, as hops and yeast cultivated and propagated in America are combined with malted barley and rye, harvested from the fields of Canada. Extra-continental flavours are imparted with the addition of German and Belgian malts and Australian hops, in this rich red rye IPA.

A Bomber of Bomber (!) from Central City. Clear pour, ruby-hued, with a large, red-tinted creamy head; good legs on this one. Piney aroma, hint of grapefruit. Basic Northwest IPA flavour of pine, citrus, plus some rye notes. Okay mouth and malt notes to finish. Not terrific, but okay and drinkable.
