Weiss beer is one of the oldest types of beer. Originally from Germany (thus "bavarian") this beer was originally created using wheat grain and barley. Weiss means "white" in German named by the color it had compared to the much darker beers of the time. This South German Style beer, commonly known as Weizen or Hefeweizen (hefe "yeast", weizen "wheat") is an unfiltered pale wheat beer, brewed with certified Czech lager yeast in the traditional Bavarian way. Served with a slice of lemon to achieve a light tart taste.

Nice enough, though if I'm grabbing a hefe, I thin I'd prefer the more fruity and spicy hefe yeast. This was refreshing with hints of lemon and wheat. Easy drinking.
