Growler from Party Town, poured deep brown with a moderate off-white head and good lacing. Nose is earthy, roasted malt and a bit of a tang. Flavor is earthy, woody, roasted malt, and a tang that seems to vacillate from rye to bourbon; both flavors are present, but nicely understated, as is the alcohol warmth. Medium mouthfeel, with a bittesweet woody/earthy finish. Very tasty brew!
