On tap @ Knoxville BrewFest: Big deep brown pour with a tight thick cream head and nice lacing. Sweet woodsy bourbon aromas with a slight vanilla oaken presence, toasted malts. Taste is velvety smooooooth with the slight bourbon flavor upfront then a nice creaminess, toasted malts, vanilla coffee, nice finish. Big nice beer.

Pours a glass of foam. Tan foam to be exact. Now, after you let that settle and get some more in there it's actually dark. But, wildly exuberantly effervescent. Tastes OK, but the watery mouthfeel is bringing me down. Despite the effervescence. But it does taste OK. Just could be better. Might need to age?
