http://www.bluepointbrewing.com/bpbc/microbrews/no-apologies/ Our Double IPA is not for the faint of heart. Or tongue. Since our very first batch, we set out to craft a big ale that would pack a punch but still leave you coming back for more. Brewed only in small batches from the finest European malts and American hops, the huge, earthy dry hop aroma of No Apologies finishes with a pleasing caramel sweetness. Five hop varieties round out this fully balanced brew that will tantalize your taste buds and warm your soul. If you happen to find a lot of bittering hops to be offensive, well, we offer No Apologies! Availability: Very Limited

Comes out of the tap a beautiful golden and slightly reddish amber with a thick, fine-bubbled and rather persistent ivory head. Aroma is quite hoppy and resiny, with a fruity undertone. Flavor is a lot hoppier than the aroma promises - evergreen hoppy, with undertones of fruit, horehound and caramel. Smooth texture is quite robust, with a good persistent fizz. Make no apologies - order one!

A bright copper-amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, ivory head rising robustly above. It settles eventually in thick splotches of film and thick ringlet. Nose is grapefruit and bready malt. The flavoring is citric-piney hops. Full bodied and smooth. A nice refreshing ale.
