In the 1940's, Belgian-Style Pale Ales grew in popularity and were ordered by the round due to their balanced taste. Rounder, our expression of this sessionable style, is crafted with hibiscus and orange peel for a hint of spiciness and touch of wheat for a smoother, rounder taste.

Pours a clear reddish amber, almost mahogany, with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled light tan head. Malty aroma has caramel and horehound undertones. Crisp, malty flavor is rounded out by caramel, fruity and horehound notes. Rather tasty. Smooth texture has a fine, subtle fizz.

Another average beer another average review. Pours a copper color with a big foamy head. The aroma is of light malt and not much else. The mouthfeel is good and the taste is also just not very bold.

Part of their "Expressionist Collection" and enjoyed in Vegas. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head that stays long enough, creating some good patchy lace. Caramel aromas at first with some nice hop notes joining in eventually. Fruity malt taste with a little bitterness from the hop. Quite mild at first, but gets better as it breathes. Hints of nuts as well (not sure about the orange peel and hibiscus). A decent brew, but not getting any Belgian Ale yeast as it is written on label "Belgian-style Pale".

A pretty average beer, nothing inherantly wrong with it, but nothing above-average either. Aroma is lighly malted, bready with a touch of floral hops. A pretty basic flavor profile, caramel malts, toast, with just a bit of citrus on the finish. The beer pours out a really nice copper body, clear with a 2" white head. Decent beer. -

A bold amber in color with a big frothy textured off white head rising above, There's good hang time on this one. Thick ringlet remains. The nose is malty and grassy. I get the added oranges in that profile. Fill bodied, smooth. Not bad at all.

Not bad. One of their better new seasonals. I'd say this is kind of like an English pale ale, or ESB, or light brown ale. Light brown appearance. Flavors of caramel malt and light wheat. Decent for dinner pairings, or just something on the medium to lighter side. I wouldn't go out of my way to seek this, but when on sale, it's a decent price for party beer.

pours an opaque, tarnished copper with an off-white, small head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is malty, citrus with oranges leading the way. The taste is light, biscuit malts with a shot of hibiscus and orange peel. The mouth feel is medium with medium carbonation.

Nice looking brew with a decent head that takes a while to dissapate and leaves a bit of lace. Amber color and very clear. Nose was too subdued to detect any characteristics.Taste was again not very telling with some hops.Finish is a bit dry and almost sour on the back of the tounge.Overall not a bad beer but very disappointing for a "Expressionist Collection" special editiion.
