Belgian-Style Pale Ale brewed with cascade hops and a touch of hibiscus and orange peel. Pale Moon is a drinkable pale ale that has a distinctive hop aroma, without the lingering aftertaste. This Belgian-Style Pale Ale is brewed with European malts, cascade hops and a touch of hibiscus and orange peel. These ingredients create a rich copper colored ale with a flavor complexity that one would expect from the Blue Moon Brewing Company.

Best of the spring seasonal pack but, like the others, lacking any real distinct aroma or flavor. Light citrus aroma and mild bitterness sets this apart from the others in the 12-pack.

Copper colored body, the head is a thin ringlet, no lace left behind. Some malts in the nose and not much else. Mouthfeel is full a tiny bit sticky. Flavor is all bready malts, a touch of sweetness and caramel. No real traces of hops or any Belgian yeasts.

pours out a slightly hazed copperish colour with a small white head and leaves wisps of lace. The aroma is sweet malty with peppery hints. The taste is a sturdy malt bill, not too sweet in the flavour profile gives way to some spiciness and a bit of hop bitterness. The mouthfeel has a decent body with a slightly prickly mouthfeel and finishes on the dry side.

Pours an amberish color. Smell is mild, some malts. Taste is also mild, malts, just a touch of hops. Overall not bad but subdued, like a Belgian Pale Ale Light.

Decent beer. Haven't had too many Belgian-style Pale Ales (Belgian-IPAs yeah, but could be my first or second Begian Pale). Slight hop at the end, but not the citrusy kind like the IPAs. Gets the Belgian feel from some special yeast I guess. Tastes a little wheaty too, but not sure if that's in there. Reminds me of their Winter/Full Moon Ale, without the spice and not as heavy. Good for the spring/early summer season.

A light amber colored beer with a big foamy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time. Settles into a thin ringlet. A fruity-orange nose. Biscuit tasting. Medium bodied, creamy.

somehow forgot to rate this one...had to dig a little for the notes. not bad for blue moon. wither they didn't f it up, or i just dig the style. probably a little of each. still average at best, for a cool style, but something i don't mind drinking. the bitterness from the hops nicely offsets the slightly muddled malt and spice(?).

Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with warm cap that has good retention and lacing. Darker malts with notes of molasses and spices. Typical Blue Moon watery mouthfeel. Bread malts with again, notes of molasses. Another easy-going brew Blue Moon that has a small touch of Belgian (but not much).

From the Harvest(?) somethingoranother 12-pack... Surprisingly very good, but consumed from the neck of the bottle, thus an average rating on appearnace - I mean, it couldn't have been too hateful. Nice mildly citrusy aroma medium bodied with a nice hoppy flavor and a clean finish. I'd actually pick up a 6-er of it on occassion if I could find it.

Tried this as the first beer of the new year. I was mildly impressed. Poured a medium to dark amber with white head. The aroma and flavor were nicely hopped. I would have enjoyed a little fuller mouth feel but overall a nice example.
