Part of their mixed pack on my trip to Maine. Pours a clear copper-amber colour with an off-white head and some light foamy lace. Aromas of spiced apples with nutmeg and cinnamon. Same spices in the taste, but milder. Not much caramel. Good limited release that is worth trying if you like spiced ales.

I'm comparing apples to apples here...this one is one of the better blue moon's, just like the apple shock toop is one of the best of that line. I think the ST is a little better, though. This is pleasant enough...apple and spices as advertised, just very simple, very thin, and a tad overcarbonated.

Aroma is not strong, but has notes of apple and cinnamon. Tempting! Pours a nice amber with a fairly thick ivory head. Caramel comes forth in the malty flavor, which has fruity and cinnamon hints. Mouthfeel is smooth, but not viscous; fizz is minimal. OK with pizza, though.

This is ok. I guess the pumpkin ales are starting to make a shift to caramel-apple, which I am fine with. Seem to prefer this style. Not overwhelmingly sweet, some hops to balance off. Nothing to rave about, would try again though.

Wednesday morning here i sit,
joblessness i have no fear,
notebook out with pen in tow,
team TUBES rule all of ratebeer.
hold on, its almost here,
Pull the handle, the blue moon guy,
polo shirts are always in style,
smells of scented candle, right for the style.
barstools aren’t comfortable,
Amber gold in the glass,
foam and lacing are low,
This pairs well with this seabass.
not sure what i’m doing here,
foam is like a low lying cloud,
brussels curtain,
there is talk about this brew, just not that loud.
is this a contest?
winners and losers, the stage is set,
is this why i drink,
put away a sixer and you’ll win the bet.
mountains, i have sorrow,
low fizz and a odd back taste,
my pen is dead, can yours i borrow,
time to upload this, cut and paste.
blue moon is owned by coors,
so happy i didn’t pay for this brew,
where are my car keys?
Team Tubes is the ultimate crew!
Slick on the tongue,
some light caramel and pie spice,
way to thin,
one pint is enough to suffice.
This beer was mild,
we make team ungestrom look like boobs,
its true you know,
because the best of the best, is TEAM TUBES!
