500 ml can, from BilkaToGo, Denmark. ABV is 5.4%. Hazy yellow colour, large white head. Wheaty aroma, hints of coriander and orange peel. Smooth mouthfeel. Citric and wheaty flavour, a hint of coriander. Low bitterness. Refreshing.

The beer that tried to fool American craft beer consumers and failed. It pours a hazed light orange color with a huge short-lived head which doesn’t leave any lacing. The aroma is your typical witbier fare with wheat, bubble gum, cloves, and coriander. Mouthfeel is average. Flavor is typical. The beer doesn’t stray far from the Celis formula to be honest it’s not a bad beer.

I’ve had this for a while so I thought I better try it as witbiers (and faux witbiers) have short shelf lives. The beer pours a hazed medium gold colour with a thick bubbly head that is short lived as are all Macro beer caps. The aroma is stale grains, metallic notes, and cardboard. No wheat or spices. Is it age, or just bad beer? The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is definitely wheat with bubblegum in the mix. Still not a lot of spice or hop notes on the tongue. It certainly tastes better than it smells, and to be honest is quite a bit better than some craft witbiers here in Ontario. -

While MolsonCoors and MillerCoors try to pass this off as a craft beer, it’s not. A hazed light yellow pour with a huge white head. The aroma is weak spices, light wheat notes, and tropical fruit. The flavour is metallic wheat, with hints of orange and coriander.

Murky, ocra color with small, frothy, white head that dissipate fast. Aroma of coriander, parsley, some other vegetable and spices. Taste is really weird, like drinking beer made of vegetable instead of using malt.

Came out of the tap yellow and cloudy. The aroma was of wheat and malt. The mouthfeel was to thin for my liking. The aroma was like the taste bitter sweet from the grains. I suppose others might like this but I only drank half the glass.

Granted, wit isn't my favorite style of beer but I've had some that are really well made. Blue Moon just isn't one of them. Hard to get past the fruity soap aroma. This is not a beer I would choose at a bar even if there were no craft options.

Served in bottle so hard to judge appeatance, also served too cold. Taste is typical wheat beer, but bit too sweet. Looks to me when served properly this has great potential. (Houston 201201)

pours a pale cloudy orange-gold color witha medium sized head that dissipated almost instantly. A very thin bubble lace that sticks around about as long as the head. The aroma is sweet smelling, lots of citrus and hints of coriander and lightly peppery and pleasant to the nose. The taste is creamy moderate body with a light crispness from the wheat. Sweetness hits up front that creeps into a light citrus and peppercorn flavor. Finishes with the lingering crispness of wheat, and just enough dryness to make your mouth water for another taste. No real hop flavor.

Pours a dark golden color. Smell is alive with oranges, spices. Taste is refreshing, orange and spice, a touch of wheat. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an easy drinking and enjoyable beer.
