This creamy vanilla ale is a wonderful combination of Vienna Malt, American two row and natural vanilla bean.

Nice look when it is served in the pint glass. Very nice smell of vanilla not too strong and very smooth taste. Very clean with no after taste it is my wifes favorite beer at the Blackhorse.

Golden pour, tall white head, good lacing. Almost too much vanilla in the initial nose, but then it mellows - at first. Malty and vanilla sweetness, very lightly hopped, a touch of floralness. Then it warms and it turns into a vanilla beershake. Nice enough for Newbs, and actually a nice change of pace. Blackstone also uses this in their easy to drink Vanilla Black and Tan. Like I said - this is for the newbs. But I still like it. (Guilty pleasure.)
