A massive brew that is enormously aromatic with huge hop flavors wonderfully structured with a great malt body. The flavor comes on with huge notes of citrus, pine and resin which last into the crisp dry finish.

Pours clear orange amber with a very thick and rather persistent pale buff head. Boldly hoppy aroma has a nice fruity undertone, mainly Mandarin orange plus a bit of apple. Hoppy flavor is quite fruity - orange, apple, pear, even a bit of banana. Hop component is equally woody and resiny, barely bitter; a sweet hint peeps through, as does a bit of malt. Texture is smooth and fairly firm, while tingle is not strong but persistent. Go on a rampage!

Bomber from Haggen (Burlington, WA). Dark orange pour, some sediment, and a fluffy ivory head. Yes, there is lacing. Grapefruit and pine resin for the aroma. Too much malt dominates the flavour, overpowering the citrus and pine. Above average mouth. 88 IBU's but a too-sweet finish. 9% ABV yet not boozy. Needs some refinement.

Not that high in the hierarchy of double iPas but probably the best I've had from this brewer. Aroma and flavor both a little malt heavy for the style, but the sweetness is pretty nice. I'd like a little more in the way of somatic hops, and more of the faint tropical fruit and citrus. Not bad.

Another IIPA opened at a recent tasting, and this one was nice overall. Frothy white head atop a rich golden body and thick lacing. Fruity with citrus and some mango in there as well, resinous. Moderately hoppy and easy to throw back.

AS the sticker on the label says, AVAILABLE NOW! Nose is citrus and dry juniper branches. Slight sweet notes on the nose. Dark caramel in colour, Tatse is medium bodied, surprising for 9%. Fairly bland really, tart, more sensational than flavourful. Bit carbonated. Drank on Tap at Baileys Tap Room Portland.

Pleasant brew that pours a murky brown with a grapefruit and citrus highlights. Might be considered to be a "better" "everyday" kind of IPA, but does not get to the premium realm of beerhood -- would purchase again if it came my way. fun artwork on label.
