Saison du Portland is a unique American interpretation of the classic Belgian Saison style. Brewed and bottled by BJ's Brewery in Portland, Oregon by artisans who have a passion for the craft of brewing. This unfiltered Saison was bottled by hand, then laid down for many months to condition like Champagne. Saison du Portland is dry and refreshing with a slight citrus flavor and a strong hop presence.

Bottle #217. This Saison pours a orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and spicy with a touch of leather and must. A medium bodied saison. Malts are fruity and sweet. Touch of funk and spice. Bright yeasts. Nice carbonation. Spicy, floral and fruity tasting throughout. This is a very nice drinkable saison. Hope it make it further than just the Portland area. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
