brand-new beer from a brand-new, very promising head-brewer. India Pale Ale following the American Pale Ale style with a fruity aroma (grapefruit), with peppery notes (East Kent Goldings), a rich taste of malts (Maris Otter and Crystal), with a very long bitter and citrus finish typical of Cascade hops.

Dec. 2012: 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.4%. Amber colour, large off-white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and floral hops. The fairly sweet flavour has notes of crystal malts, balanced by pleasant fruity and slightly spicy hops. Medium bitter finish.

Poured a slightly cloudy golden body with two finger head that left lace down glass. An earthy, floral aroma with touch of grain and some sweet malts. Somewhat sharper, spicier hops - good crispness to beer. Medium bodied and filling, the hops give off citric notes and there's minor caramel sweetness. A little different from most IPAs with a more pronounced dryness.

Bit hazy dark yellow with white foam head. Aroma is quite hoppy, bit malt too. Taste is bittersweet with orange, fruit. Dry, short bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201301)

Bottled at Monk's Café, Stockholm. pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a rich and sticky off-white foam. Fruity aroma of flowers, mild pine and tangerine with touches of neutral yeast. Medium-bodied with touches of pine-cones, peaches, grass, guava and bakers yeast. Smooth, almost flat mouthfeel. Medium-bitter and fruity finish of peaches, resin, grass and starfruit. tasty and rather refreshing but lacks some depth.
