Rich enough to warm you up in winter, but smooth and refreshing enough to quench your thirst, Oats In Hose is our winter seasonal beer. This beer is a fun interpretation of a creamy oatmeal stout, and is reminiscent of your grandmother’s oatmeal cookies. The comfortable, but full mouthfeel comes from over 200 pounds of oats we use in the brewing process to balance out the roasted, smokiness of a traditional stout. Keep and serve cold as hail.

As more and more brewers are coming out, and the sample size of beers is way higher...I am finding my ratings going down a bit relative to the average norm. This is probably one of those examples of a stout that I would have rated slightly higher in the past. There is some decent chocolate malt and oat flavor here, but nothing really standing out or to write home about. About average for the style.
