    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original La Piautre stemmed glass an unfiltered and hazy copper-brown coloured IPA with a two fingers light beige soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles and some bigger one. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is sweety malts, caramel and a mild, but deep, aromatic hoppy bitterness. The flavour is sweety malts, caramel, spicy, pepper and a pronounced aromatic and fruity, grapefruits, hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is crispy, fizzy and very sweet. This medium bodied IPA has a long sweety and hoppy bitter finish. The nose is OK but the, too, sweety palate is overwhelming the existing hoppy bitterness. Sorry for this promising French I.P.A.
