Thanks to PaleAleRider for sharing this one. Pours a pitch black-brown colour with a deep beige head. Pour a sweet atoms of butterscotch over the roasted malt with hints of candy, coffee and nuts. The alcohol is well-balanced with an burning. Roasted malt taste with the hints of candy and coffee. Pretty sweet overall, but goes down nicely.

Pours a fairly large and thick frothy brown head and has a dark brown appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of dark roasted malts, some hints of spices. Flavours of nutty malts, faint chocolate. Some fairly sweet notes coming through. The alcohol actually seems to come through almost immediately. The aged notes are quite noticeable with faint bourbon hints. The palate has a slight burning/warming sensation.
