Purchased a mini growler at the brewery. Pours a thin coat of head and has a slightly cloudy amber appearance. Somewhat weak lacing. Light grapefruit aromas and a nice mild hoppy scent. Flavours are quite bitter, some spices and resin hops as well as some light notes of cinnamon. Also fairly bitter in the finish. Has a nice bitter, astringent mouthfeel and slight creaminess. Fairly excessive carbonation. Mild warming sensation. really good stuff. **On a side note, enjoyed a Cask pint at the Ottawa Brewery Market July 7th. Still had that nice hoppy aroma and not as flat as expected. Gave a slight warm feeling from not really being chilled. Still goes down pretty good and not as much in your face as normal HOYF.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for this one, straight from the brewery. Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige-yellow head that has good retention and limited lacing. Great aromas of hopd, but not your typical hopbomb. Well mixed with the fruity and caramel malts. Very slight dry mouthfeel. Grainy malt taste with the hop presence, but again, not too crazy. Just right with some grassy notes that lingers. Gets cloudy near the last pour. This is a pretty good brew. Probably one of my favorites so far from this brewery.
