A deep ruby coloured IPA that boasts a darker hue without having fallen into the conventional trappings of overly sweet maltiness. Multiple hop additions give off earthy and pine resin notes which linger just long enough to beckon another sip. This traditional india pale drinks like a dignified vixen, assertively bitter, but not abrasive. Actually, just friendly enough to be a comforting companion while at odds against the elements.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a full frothy warm cap, good stay and thick creamy lacing. Fresh herbal hops in the aromas over fruity malts. The mouthfeel is dry. Flavours are well-balanced between the herbal hops of the IPA and the fruitiness of the red ale. Hints of nuts and apples. This is going down quite nicely.
