BELTIAN WHITE - Another award winning ale which is a mild version of a Belgian classic. Brewed with equal amounts of northwestern malted wheat and malted barley, hopped with Czechoslovakian Saaz hops and finished with a touch of coriander and orange peel. This is an ale for every season with a hint of fruit in the nose, subdued malty flavor and a slightly citric finish. A Belgian style brewed in Belt - Beltian White!

Thanks Dertt, you fat sack of crap.
Poured out a small white foamy head that does not survive, almost no lacing. The colour is very nice - a light hazy yellow gold that looks fabulous up to a pot light. The lack of a quality cap knocked down the marks. Huge refreshing aromas of oranges and coriander followed a long time after by citrusy hops (tangerine, lemon) and wheat. I'm not convinced yet that I've found yeast as the fruitiness and freshness of this beer either hides it very well or it just isn't there. The taste is nowhere near as bold as the aroma but its still very flavourful: oranges, tangerines, soft lemon candy, some mild wheat malts, coriander, something faint in the spice that keeps reminding me of spearmint or something and a mild bitterness that shows up after all the other stuff. Great carbonation, sort of medium bodied, almost dries the mouth. Finishes with mild and pleasant lingering orange bitterness. I would absolutely drink a couple of litres of this if I could sit down and have it on tap. Pretty good for a beer that was tossed into a mystery craft variety 6 pack of beers and breweries that I'd never heard of. -

Self-explanatory word play, a nice example of the style. Cloudy yellow in color, but without the floaties in other unfiltered beers, thin layer of foam that shrank to a wide collar. Lots of citrus aromas and some sweet smell that we couldn’t put a name to. Asparagus? More fruitiness in the smell that Hoegaarden, but without the funky yeast smells. Very refreshing and clean flavour with lots of spice, orange, lemon. Nice tangy finish. Could easily have had another and another. Perfect refreshing drink for the hot summer days.
