The beer poured a coca-cola brown with a thin tan ring that lasted a while and laced very well. The aroma was roasted malt, pine, and citrus. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, coffee, chicoree, grapefruit, and hints of chocolate. Quite enjoyable, The bartender described it as a Black IPA, and it could very well fit that category.

On tap @pub milos, puts a dark roily brew in the glass, smallish tight tan cap. Big waft of Pine and citrus in the aroma plus the requisite sweet malty toasty-nutty aromas of a Brown. Flavour follows aroma with a keen balance between the resinous pine and citrus hopping and the rich toasty nutty malts. Gets more resinous in the finish with those juicy hops coming forward. I like Brown ale and this is a great amalgam of Brit and US styles. A top flight quaffer.
