Born in a dream, Quinannan Falls Special Lager Beer refers to a mythical place in the boreal north. While the waterfall may exist solely in Larry Bell’s imagination, the beer he remembered drinking there is now quite real. Quinannan Falls possesses the crisp, dry bitterness you’d expect from a German pilsner, but the use of highly aromatic hops from the Pacific Northwest in both the kettle & dry-hop evokes the fragrant pine forests that inspired this beer.

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6
Aroma offers resiny hop, yeasty and raw malt notes. It pours clear topaz with a thick eggshell head. Mouthfeel presents raw malt, resiny hops and crisp apple tones, a little bit bitter, indeed like the love child of a typical American lager and an IPA. Mouthfeel presents fairly firm and smooth body, not a lot of fizz. Fall for it.

smelled like a great ipa looks like a miller lite. Very mild taste compared to the aroma. A decent lager brewed for the masses, not very flavorful and not really my bag. I like all bells bear so I am going to call this a 7 even though it probably isn't.

Had this on tap at Maduro,pre-party night. Wasn't sure what it was at first until I saw the description on the door. Pours a golden slight orange colour. Mucho carbonation. Aroma is semi-herbaly. Some citrus, grass and lime notes on the palate. Well balanced, with noticeable hops but smooth creamy malts.
