I was slightly dissatisfied with this IPA. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't blow my kilt up at all like I was expecting. Pours a golden color with a medium head. Lots of hops and citrus and lemons in the aroma but it was toned down considerably for a Impy IPA. I think the malt sweetness was a bit overpowering that the hop bitterness, so this round the malt won. Finish is quick, clean and tasty. Average for an Imp. IPA with room for improvement.

Medium gold color. Large white foamy head. Aroma is citrus and a touch floral. A medium bodied double IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruit and citrus, touch of floral. Nicely balanced, Slightly sweeter than most imperial IPAs as the malt sweetness is a little stronger than the hop bittrness. Hides the 8.8% ABV very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
