Normal pour, subpar head, ok lacing. The aroma was too strong on a coffee type slant, as was the flavor initially, strong bitter coffee in a brown ale with only bitter nuts detectable underneath. As it warmed, this thing improved, but it wasn't smooth and was only average in the style.
