Pours a darker copper-brown colour with a fizzy bubbly warm-mocha coloured head that still stays longer than expected. Dark fruit aromas (mostly raisins) with roasted malts, cocoa powder and hints of leaves. The taste has this leaf flavours as well, with the dark fruits (some plums). Seems like a more herbal, hoppy Quadrupel. Well done, but not my thing.

Part of Best of Beau's 2016 4 pk. Pours a huge foamy bubbly beige head and has a somewhat cloudy amber appearance with ruby highlights. Some dirty lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas of bready malts, dark roasted malt, hints of vanilla. Flavours are mainly dry fruit, (prunes, raisins) some more dark roasted malt notes, definitely some spices, hints of yeast and a bit sugary in the finish. High abv at 10.5% but quite inoffensive and certainly enjoyable.
