A “ginger” edition of our Wag The Wolf hopfenweisse! Brewed with organic ginger, late-addition hopped with organic New Zealand varieties, and fermented with a traditional Hefeweizen yeast. HISTORY & STYLE: Ginger Wolf hopfenweisse is a spicy, hop-forward and North American twist on the Bavarian weissbier. The traditionally weissbier is complemented and accentuated by a juicy, fruity hop selection and ginger spice. TASTING NOTES: Hazy and pale gold in colour. Notes of ginger predominate with undertones of banana, clove, papaya, mango and citrus on the nose. Lively carbonation with pleasant maltiness. Spicy and fruity, with a slightly dry finish with mild gingery heat. FOOD PAIRINGS: Vietnamese spring rolls with lime, soya & chili dip; Thai green curry; Stir fried vegetables with ginger, citrus & chilies; Mussels steamed with coconut milk, ginger, cilantro & Ginger wolf; fruit salad, soft goat cheese.
