A big, bad, Belgian brown. Brewed with a trifecta of sugars, including a housemade candi syrup. Wild and untamed, this brew starts out sweet and finishes with notes of clove and nutmeg.

Went into the Flying Saucer in KC and saw this as a special and had never heard of it, so I had to try it. Very sweet and toasted malt on the aroma. This was an extremely brown beer with just the thinnest head clinging to the sides of the glass. My first taste was a surprise because I had no idea what this beer even was. It tasted heavy with tons of flavor, the sweet malt flavors were upfront with a hint of chocolate then it finished with a very nice pleasent spicy finish. An awesome beer that I hope I can find in a bottle one day.

i have to take issue with the "wild and untamed" portion of the brewers description. other than that, it's pretty accurate. a darn good beer, wild or not, just not what i was expecting. great malty flavor and aroma, with just a hint of the wildness and spices promised. a dangerously drnkable brew for 9.5%. The Bear's summer alternative to Blac Bear stout.
