Tasted at the 9th Annual Bistro IPA Festival (2006). This IPA pours a light orange gold color. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral. Medium bitterness for an IPA. Crisp and clean, but finishes with a nice floral sweetness. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This IPA is not terrible or great--just average. The pour is the normal golden color with a white head. The aroma is hoppy, with a decent amount of citrus. There is also some straw or grass in the aroma. The mouthfeel is a bit thin or watered down. The flavor is a little too much on the grassy side for my liking--sort of biscuity as well. The hops come through, but don't impress as much as I would like in an IPA.

I've had this beer a few times but don't ask me why. It's decent all around beer but a far cry from award winning. I've also had it cask conditioned, which was boring at best. A clear orange-amber beer with not too much head or aroma. Medium body with your run of the mill hops.
