Diable Déguisé or "Devil in Disguise". A big boozy blend of two barrel aged Belgian strong ales, A Parti-Gyle mashed Belgian Tripel where only the first runnings and strongest wort was collected and boiled separately to the lower sugar runnings, which made "Patri-Gyle Pilsner" aged in ex-red wine barrels. 100% Pilsner malt, long boil Belgian Strong Ale was aged in Willet bourbon barrels for six months, resulting in a decadent dessert beer with layers of caramel, malt sweetness, vanilla stack on top of fruity, spicy, boozy esters. Bottle and Keg conditioned

Pours clear golden with a good ivory head. Aroma adds stone and citrus fruit notes. Flavor produces tart & sweet citrus, grapefruit and Mandarin, nectarine & peach. Texture yields nice body and peppy fizz. Devilishly good.
