How about a 18 hour flight to New Zealand with a cranky flight crew? As the name implies Sassy Stewardess is filled with the flavor and flare found in a traditional Saison all joined to Motueka and Wakatu New Zealand hops! The Stewardess brings hints of lemon and orange on the tongue with a dry finish mixed with spice and sweetness on the nose. Sassy Stewardess will age well for up to 6 months, pack a few bottles away and enjoy the evolution of the Stewardess. Not familiar with Motueka or Wakatu Hops? Motueka is a newer variety NZ Hop, this hop was bred by crossing a New Zealand breeding selection (2/3) with Saazer paretage (1/3). Primarily used for flavor and aroma, its profile is citrus with lifted lemon and lime followed by a background of tropical fruit. Formerly known as B (Belgian) Saaz. Wakatu is a versatile hop that is similar to the German Hallertau Mittelfruh variety with a pleasant floral aroma suitable for flavor and aroma, yet it has a relatively high alpha acid content, making it useful as a bittering hop. It has the ability to retain its clean, crisp taste even in older beers. Enjoy your flight to New Zealand, but watch out for the flight crew she will sneak up on you!
