A gift from my brother in law when he and his family went visiting Bar Harbor last summer.A very good brown ale that we enjoyed my wife and me with some fantastic homemade indian food.Brown red color this beer leaves a nice impression with a persistent ring of foam.Subtle malt aroma, this beer is definitely easy to drink with a moderate bitterness but with a good dosage of malt leaving a subtle sweetness.A very well balance beer going very good with indian food.

Brew # 01546... Poured a bright red and brown color with a medium sized off white head and some light lacing on the glass. Swweet caramel malts and citrus fruits in the aroma. Taste was rather weak, nuts, more caramel. Medium carbonation, but thats about it.
