Poured off of cask. Pitch black with a huge espresso nose.Hints of vanilla. A little bit thin in the body but still a good brew.

this has the normal Imperial stout appearance. The aroma is roasty coffee/espresso. The body is thin, but a lot of flavor comes thru. a beginner's imperial stout.

Cask. Poured almost black with nice brown head. Coffee and chocolate throughout. Alcohol finish.

This brew pours witha black body topped by a medium thick head with lots of lacing. The aroma is sweet yet roasty and malty with a slight coffee note. The flavor is slightly sweet yet bitter with roasty notes and a touch of coffee. Full bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

Black is the color and to top it off is a foamy dirt brown head. Smells like it should remove paint rather than my inhibitions. Rolls way too smooth at first, but then some hot chocolate and coffee comes in and it finishes with a fuel like taste.
