A beer with a nice bright amber color and a white head. Distinct citrusy notes of tangerine are complemented by notes of melon and mango. The taste immediately shows that this is a unique interpretation of classic English IPAs: the yeast strain - selected and grown at the brewery - gives it an unequivocally Baladin character.

330 ml bottle, as Baladin l'IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy orange to amber colour, large to moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Aroma of grain, dust, marmalade and broth. Flavour of citrus, orange marmalade, grapefruit, pine, still with unwanted hints of broth. Medium bitter. The flavour is, after all, better than the aroma, but this is not a beer I'll buy again.
