Pours a cloudy golden-amber colour with a big frothy off-white head that lingers and leaves lots of dirty lace. The nose is quite hoppy with notes of green apples. Also, alcohol is felt, so is some sweetness and some rye. Medium-bodied with well-hidden alcohol (no burning in the mouth and throat). Spicy taste with the hop very well present again (not one that I enjoy). Because of this, I enjoyed this one less than I thought, but overall a good Belgian strong ale.
