LCBO Outlet #255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)

It poured a golden orange colour into the glass with a fluffy white head that dissipated very quickly leaving almost no foam on the top. Lots of effervescence. The aroma was a combination of malts and yeast. The mouthfeel is crisp with a lot of carbonation - dances on the tongue. The taste is slightly bitter with some malty tones. Not a great beer by any stretch.

This is probably my least favorite style. With that being said, this was actually not that bad. This was my first beer on a 2 day plane trip to Indonesia, so was just happy to be out of the airport and sitting down to relax. That made this beer seem better than what it is I'm sure, but was drinkable and had some flavor. It is what it is though, and maybe a slightly higher rating than if I bought this and sampled at home. Either way though, better than most of the pale lagers in America.

This was a clear yet light gold color for a pale lager. It had a little head with no lacing or a decent hoppy aroma. The flavor was rather sweet yet medium-bodied with an aftertaste that was slightly fruity.

Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. This is one of those rare beers that tastes better out of the can than it does out of the bottle. It pours a medium gold colour, clear, with a white head and plenty of effervescence. The flavour is quite grainy with hints of herbal hops.

Think this beer would taste better when in Thailand, at an airport lounge it is just another pilsener. BUt when in Thailand with some spicy food, this would be great.

Pours a golden color. Smell is of malts and grains. Taste is sweet, malty, a touch of hops. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing and easy drinking beer.

pours with a frothy medium sized head that dissipates in a couple minutes leaving bits of lace. The color is a very light yellow color. The aroma is very dough like. The taste is like a typical lager: bread/dough, light floral hop bitterness. The mouthfeel has good carbonation level and leaves a fairly pleasant aftertaste but is very refreshing.

500ml can. I've had this in the fidge for a while now, haven't been to excited to drink it but maybe it will surprise me. Pour is pale gold with a medium white head that faded quickly leaving no lace. Aroma is weak, grassy some sweetness. Not a whole lot to say about this one. Typical lager flavour (or lack thereof). Easy to drink, smooth, clean finish. Pretty much what I expected here. Not a bad beer but nothing special either.

Nice clear golden yellow pour with a decent white head and some lacing. Good carbonation. Slightly sweet malted aroma with a touch of hops. Taste is a touch thin with some sweet malts and a bit of hops bitter. Thin but drinkable.

I'll say this; it wasn't hateful. But, it wasn't a truly world-class great beer either. I was eating at a new Thai joint, saw it and being the Tiger fan that I am, thought WTF? At least it's not a Bud. There was nothing outstanding about it, but there was nothing especially wrong with it either. I enjoyed a few of them with my meal.

This is a nifty lager. It may be my imagination but it does seem spicy or like with a hnt of ginger. Anyhow, it is a very decent beer that you remember.
