Our British style IPA is a good start for those willing to wander off the beaten path of traditional Canadian beers. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a small cap with decent lacing. Spicy hop nose over smooth caramel malts. Hints of butterscotch as well. The hops in the taste are even spicier with the light grain lingering. The grassiness is nicely balanced. Crisp and dry mouthfeel. Kind of reminds me of the flavours of a Steam Whistle, but stronger as an ale and bolder hops as an IPA. I quite approve.

On tap at The Goose and Gridiron Pub, Merrickville. Pours a fairly thick frothy creamy off-white head and has a golden appearance. Very thick dirty lacing. Aromas of floral and citrusy hops. Flavours are citrusy and floral hops, some piney and grassy notes. A bit of bitterness on the palate. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Also quite creamy. Not bad.
