This IPA has a perfect balance for abeer of this strength and complexity. It’s perfectly carbonated, golden-orange in colour with a thick, ivory head. The hops explode with flavour followed by notes of grapefruit and orange.

Bomber from Central City, and not a bad price (for here) at under $6 for a DIPA. Too bad it wasn't a better beer. First I've had from Arrowhead; didn't know they existed before this. Pour was a good looking rich copper, some haze, and an towering rocky head of ivory; terrific hangtime with this one. Aroma was grapefruit and resin, maybe some malt. So-so mouthfeel. Flavour less good than the nose, I believe skunky is the word here, plus some dirt I mean earthiness. It became a little more tolerable towards the end, but this one lacks balance and refinement.
