Pours medium brown with good clarity and small, tight head. Smells like pool water and coffee. Flavor is disappointing and lacks all my favorite components of the style. No nuttiness, no caramel sweetness, no toffee. Very subtle earth and roasted malt character is overshadowed by a strong "off-flavor," difficult to describe yet I'm certain it's bad. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Sampled from bottle. Pours clear red-brown with a thin creamy head. Its aroma is a blend of fruity yeast esters and toasted malt. Balanced. Tart/sour twang. Some ashy burnt malts in the finish. Hmmm.

This one was not that bad, poured a nice dark color with a fine beerfoam. I definitely could taste the malts. Thinner than i was expecting. Would recommend to try once.

Beautiful Medium-Dark Brown color. Great caramel aroma. Very small foam head. Fairly high bitter hoppy taste. Sweet after-taste. A very respectable brown ale.

Bottle. Poured a clear brown color with a light white head. No lacing. Decent aroma of malt. Flavor was a nice dark malty flavor with a slight coffee finish. Good beer.

Brown-amber pour with a filmy tan head, little to no lacing. Enticing aroma lots of brown sugar and caramel. Medium bodied, kind of fizzy in the mouth, relatively smooth finish. Flavor is a reminder of the aroma, on the sweet side with a touch of sugary goodness, decent malt content. There aren't any prominant hop flavors present, this one seems to rely on the malt which is fine in a brown.

Caramelly and mild roasty accent the heavily malt oriented aroma, some diacetyl. Brown, tiny head, little lace. Slick...darn that D...and coating mouthfeel. Cleanly malty, roasty and caramelly flavor. Not bad, just not my cup of brew.

Dark brown color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweetish. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are caramel and sweet. Somewhat flat tasting, little to no carbonation. Also a little watery and thin tasting. There is a touch of spicy hops at the finish. Not a very interesting beer. The word uninspired comes to mind. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is sweet.

Bottle. Light tan head tops a ruddy brown color. Aroma is brown sugar, walnuts and a little bubblegum. Surprisingly, the taste it not at all sweet. A coppery roast beef and bread make this rather unpleasant. A typical brown ale.

A respectable beer. Not exactly my kind of flavor, but i can diefinetely give it some respect for being a well crafted and robust tasting brew.
