The latest in the Phat Abbot Trappist-style line of ales is the Special Reserve. At 9% alcohol, this beer gets its color, body, and flavor from using 3 different types of Belgian candy sugar. This beer is a little less sweet than the Dubbel and Triple but maintains a nice mellow candy flavor that is pleasantly offset by a strong alcohol finish. Limit 3.
