Oktoberfesten i München pågår som bäst, och snart drar Kalmars eget Oktoberkalas igång! Vad passar då bättre än en Oktoberfestlig Ängöl!? Münchenborna kallar festen för "Wies’n" efter ängen Theresienwiesen där folkfesten hålls och ölen kallas Wies’nbier. Översätter man det ordagrant blir det faktiskt - Ängöl!

Pours out in shady pale amber colour with rich rocky white head. Solid and deep malty aroma of slightly toasted malts, mild butter, straw and cookies with fresh grassy hops. Medium-bodied with solid and creamy flavours of cookies, straw, mild honey, wet grass and spicy hops. Long medium-bitter finish of spicy and grassy hops on a malty solid foundation of white bread, cookies, mild honey and rye. Probably the best Märzen/October I’ve sampled to date. The malt character is just brilliant!
