This American Style India pale Ale is a true Northwest IPA; a bold hop aroma with a floral and citrus note. Its color is a dark honey or amber tone. From Pt Roberts (WA) Texaco (!), in a bomber. Two fingers of creamy, ivory head, and well retained it was. Clear copper body. Aroma was immediately hopped and piney before the pour was finished. Mouth was less robust than expected. Flavour not as good as the aroma, but still with the hops and pine.
